Canadian cleaning company Belvedere Maintenance is pleased to welcome Mark Obidniak to the team.

A marketing and brand manager, Obidniak is fluent in English, French and Polish; and he is currently learning Italian. For 11 years, he enjoyed his role as Vice President at Admark Communications and Designs in Montreal, Quebec. Admark’s diverse portfolio meant Obidniak got to work with an array of interesting sectors, including pharmaceutical, pet products, telecommunications, food, fashion and finance.

To fuel his passion for helping clients get the most out of their brands and to maximize their marketing dollars, Obidniak left Admark in 2010 to launch ‘Nmore Brands Inc. The standout product of ‘Nmore was gel’nbath – which was managed and developed by Obidniak. He coordinated the import/export of products with overseas suppliers; designed marketing materials such as packaging, websites, multimedia and ads; analyzed industry competitors and presented gel’nbath at 14 trade shows during a 22-month period.

Notably, Obidniak took the gel’nbath product on CBC’s Dragon’s Den where he received three offers from the hard-to-please Dragons. Despite the scrutiny and hard-hitting questions of the Dragons while the cameras rolled, Obidniak kept cool under pressure, recited the facts and figures of his company and the product with ease, and took the time he needed to ponder all the offers before accepting the one that worked best for him, his partner and for gel’nbath.

After selling the brand gel’nbath in 2013, Obidniak turned to consulting, and worked as a contract marketing manager for Wildfire Environmental Inc. Using traditional print and social media tools, he created both short and long-term strategies that were designed for self-sustainment following the end of his contract with the company.
